Small Kitchen Appliances: My Review of The Hamilton Beach Wide Mouth Juicer

So my husband and I decided to give juicing a shot, quite a while back. Of course, with most things in our large family, we had to wait until we could afford a juicer to actually embark on this journey.
As luck would have it, the day came when we had some leftover cash on Amazon following a number of trade ins. With the spare credits we decided to purchase a new juicer from their home appliance section. My first idea was that I needed to buy one that was expensive and showy, like the Lalange or the Omega. But I noticed that the Hamilton Beach small home appliances edition, which boasted a mid-level price, had great reviews. So that is the one we decided to go with.
So far I've been pretty impressed. There is a lot to clean, but I am pretty sure that would be an issue with any juicer due to the pure nature of the machine. I also think maybe it could be a little more efficient, sometimes it seems to send more waste into the pulp collector than it ought to.
Overall, especially for the price, I think it is a great juicer. My kids are actually getting a substantial amount of raw veggies in their diet now, and I like that. It's fun to experiment with and it is healthful. It might not be the best juicer in the world, but it certainly serves our purpose.
