Bosch Sponsors Wasting Water Is Weird Campaign

Bosch home appliances who received the 2011 Energy Star Sustained Excellence Award have joined other corporate entities in sponsoring the wasting Water is Weird campaign. Other than Bosch, Lowe's, Kohler, Proctor & Gamble and the EPA have joined the campaign to encourage Americans to save water.
Brand Manager at Bosch, Micaela Shaw has stated that they at Bosch believed in water and energy efficiency and that they are proud to be part of such an initiative. The company endeavors to make their appliances use the minimum amount of water without compromising on the quality of the appliance.
The campaign is making Americans aware of the shortage of freshwater by a series of comic and humorous takes on a character named "Rip the Drip". Contrary to the common perception, Shaw clarifies further that Bosch dishwashers use only two gallons of water while hand washing requires almost 43 gallons. These dishwashers offer advanced features like Half Load Wash to clean a smaller number of dishes.
